[:fr]Dans la “Maison de Blanche-Neige” aux murs décorés par Pierre Joubert, se situent le bureau du directeur du Village d’Enfants de Riaumont (Père Jean-Paul Argouarc’h), ainsi que la Salle d’Honneur (appelée aussi Salle du Chevalier).
Son absence de plafond permet de profiter au mieux des superbes poutres de la charpente décorées de maints oriflammes et gonfanons. Ses tables et bancs en bois plein accueillent souvent des vins d’honneur et la grande cheminée permet de faire quelques veillées scoutes quand le temps ne permet pas aux invités de rester dehors.
Décorée par des trophées de chasse, des statues, des photos souvenirs de nos Feux de la Saint Jean, elle amplifie l’imagination des garçons et leur fait parfois entrevoir le merveilleux de la Création.
Parfois des veillées mythiques s’y déroulent au coin de la cheminée, avec le Père Argouarc’h qui raconte une histoire. Ou bien ce sont des conférences ou encore un repas d’anciens.
Dans un angle, un piano demi-queue attend les doigts agiles du Père Dominique et les notes de Chopin, Bach, Mozart et tant d’autres s’élèvent vers les hautes poutres.
Les éclairages directs et indirects ont été fort bien pensés et participent à donner à cette salle son atmosphère si particulière, mélange subtil de calme, de recueillement et de saine excitation.

[:en] In the ” House of White-Snow ” to the walls decorated byPierre Joubert, are located the office of the Father Argouarc’H, the Prior, and the Room of Honor, called sometimes also Salle of Knighthood.  

Its absence of ceiling makes it possible to benefit as wellas possible from the superb beams of the frame decorated with manystreamers and gonfanons. Its tables and banks out of full woodenoften accomodate receptions and the large chimney makes it possible tomake some taken care scoutes when time do not allow the guests toremain outside.
Decorated by trophés with hunting, statues, photographsmemories of our Fires of the Jean Saint, it amplifies the imaginationof the boys and sometimes makes them foresee marvellous Creation.
Every Tuesday evenings it resounds of the songs of the Choralsociety which hold its repetitions there.
Sometimes the Guides or they Louvettes hold meeting to withit, or well the Father Argouarc’H gives a conference to it has agroup of reprocessing.
In an angle, a boudoir grand awaits the nimble fingers of Father Dominic and the notes of Chopin, Bach, Mozart and so much of others rise towards the high beams.
The direct and indirect lightings were extremely well thought and take part to give to this room its so particular atmosphere, subtle mixture of calms, meditation and healthy excitation.

[:nl]In het “Huis van Sneeuwwitje”, waarvan de muren beschilderd werden door Pierre Joubert, bevindt zich het kantoor van de directeur van Le Village D’Enfants van Riaumont (Père Jean-Paul Argouarc’h) maar ook de Erezaal (ook wel de Ridderzaal genoemd) .

Het gebrek aan een plafond doet het prachtige timmerwerk en de balken, versierd met vele vlaggen en vaandels en kerkbaniers prachtig tot zijn recht komen. Aan de tafels & banken van eikenhout wordt vaak wijn geschonken en rond de grote schoorsteen gebeuren geregeld avondlijke scoutsbijeenkomsten, als het weer het niet toelaat om buiten te blijven.
Versierd met jachttrofeeën, beeldjes en fotoherinneringen aan onze Feux de la Saint-Jean, wordt in de Erezaal de verwondering en verbeelding van onze jongens aangescherpt en laat ze zelfs af en toe de wonderen van de Schepper doorschemeren.
Elke dinsdagavond weerklinkt hier het gezang van het Koor dat er repetities houdt. Soms houden de gidsen er een vergadering of geeft Pere Argouarc’h er een uiteenzetting voor een groep van gasten.
In een hoek wacht de vleugelpiano op de vaardige vingers van Broeder Dominique en wordt de Erezaal ten gepaste tijde opgeluisterd door de muziek van Chopin, Bach, Mozart en vele anderen.
Over de verlichting (direct en indirect) werd goed nagedacht en dat zorgt ervoor dat deze zaal zo’n bijzondere sfeer uitstraalt, een subtiele mélange van kalmte, gastvrijheid en oprechte opwinding.
