The Room of Honor

In the ” House of White-Snow ” to the walls decorated byPierre Joubert, are located the office of the Father Argouarc’H, the Prior, and the Room of Honor, called sometimes also Salle of Knighthood.

Its absence of ceiling makes it possible to benefit as wellas possible from the superb beams of the frame decorated with manystreamers and gonfanons. Its tables and banks out of full woodenoften accomodate receptions and the large chimney makes it possible tomake some taken care scoutes when time do not allow the guests toremain outside.
Decorated by trophés with hunting, statues, photographsmemories of our Fires of the Jean Saint, it amplifies the imaginationof the boys and sometimes makes them foresee marvellous Creation.
Every Tuesday evenings it resounds of the songs of the Choralsociety which hold its repetitions there.
Sometimes the Guides or they Louvettes hold meeting to withit, or well the Father Argouarc’H gives a conference to it has agroup of reprocessing.
In an angle, a boudoir grand awaits the nimble fingers of Father Dominic and the notes of Chopin, Bach, Mozart and so much of others rise towards the high beams.
The direct and indirect lightings were extremely well thought and take part to give to this room its so particular atmosphere, subtle mixture of calms, meditation and healthy excitation.
