The building “Baudoin IV of Jerusalem”

This building is a little different from the other ones in Riaumont. Firstly, because it is located at the end of the property, secondly and mainly, because it is the only one being built with modern materials and design. All the other buildings of the village were built, most of it by the boys themselves, with the famous belgian pavement. The Baudoin IV bulding was erected out of concrete and thus unfortunately stands out compared to the others. However, its role is significant. It houses :

  • À conference room called “” the Brittany Room “” for transiting groups and formal meals.
  • The scouts museum and laboratory.
  • The refectory where the boys, the leaders and close friends have their meals.
  • À large kitchen.
